Environmental 911
About Us
At Environmental 911, we navigate potentially harmful environments in order to mitigate damage and keep as much of your home or business in its original state as possible.
We are a family-founded disaster restoration service in Southern California opened in 1999. Over the years, we’ve worked with property owners, insurance companies, independent adjusters, general contractors, franchise restoration companies, and countless other clients to help them after leaks, floods, earthquakes, windstorms, fires, vehicle accidents, and other disasters. We hold and maintain several contractor’s licenses (B, ASB, C36, C22) and are annually certified by the state of California DOSH (Division of Occupational Safety and Health), the SCAQMD (Southern California Air Quality Management District), the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration).
Our team members have several years of experience in the restoration industry and construction. We provide them with ongoing training, health screenings, and materials and equipment to keep them safe and protected.
Most importantly, we treat our team and our clients like family. As our mission statement says, we exist to improve the lives of our clients, team members, and community. We aim to provide big company ability and small company service. We are committed to working hard, having fun, and doing good. We strive to be the best at what we do!
At Environmental 911, we understand how difficult disasters can be on people.
Ultimately, our goal is to help you and your home or business get back to normal.
Our business has one singular focus – to get families back to their homes or business and back to their normal lives. Disasters and traumatic events that can make our homes safe are some of the most trying instances we can deal with.
The first step to getting your home or business back to normal is making sure that the source of the damage has been removed from your environment.
Once we have stabilized the issue, we'll perform an inspection. This allows us to determine what needs to be repaired and what equipment we'll need.
We will work promptly to provide the scope of your environment livable and restored to its previous state. We have a dedicated team that works efficiently to help you move forward and heal.
SCAQMD Rule 1403 establishes notification and work practice requirements to limit asbestos emissions from building demolition and renovation activities.
California law requires that a copy of the asbestos demolition/renovation
notification form be provided to your local city permitting department prior to the issuance of a demolition/renovation
permit. Local governments are responsible for the asbestos notification process.
According to Rule 1403, an asbestos survey is required prior to the start of any renovation or demolition project, regardless of the age of the building or the size of the project, in order to determine the presence of asbestos-containing materials. Rule 1403 defines a "demolition" project as a project that includes the removal of any load-bearing component. All other projects would be considered a "renovation" project.
